Why aren’t there any rides in my area?

If you have searched for rides on goskyride.com and your search has returned no results please try widening your search parameters, you could try increasing the distance from your search location or make sure you have ticked more than one type of ride.

We are adding new rides to the website every week so if your amended search still returns no results please check back at a later date as there may be new rides added which are happening in your area.

Alternatively you could join Ride Social – our social network for cyclists. Using Social Cycling Groups you can create your own ride and post it on the website for others to book on to.

I got an error message while completing my booking, how do I know if I’m booked on to the ride?

If you have successfully registered for a ride on goskyride.com you should receive an email from us confirming your place on the ride. Please make sure you check your junk folder for this email and allow plenty of time for the email to come through before contacting us to see if your booking has been successful.

You can also go to your dashboard on goskyride.com and click on the ‘Rides’ tab to view upcoming rides you are booked on. Remember to make sure the calendar on the right hand side of the page is showing the correct month for the ride you are looking for.

I booked on a ride but it’s not showing on my dashboard?

If you have booked on a ride and it does not appear to be showing on your dashboard please make sure that you are in the correct month of your ride diary. On the right hand side of the ‘Rides’ tab in your dashboard you will see a calendar, you need to make sure that you are in the correct month for the ride to show up in your dashboard as it will default to showing rides for the current month.

If the ride is still not showing on your dashboard it is likely that there has been an error on the site and your booking has not been made, please go back to the event details page for your ride and attempt to book your place on the ride again.

I’m having problems registering for a ride, how do I book my place?

To register for one of our rides you must have an account on goskyride.com

Once you have found the ride you want to register for click on ‘Book Now. It’s Free’ and follow the steps to book your place on the ride. If you are not already logged in to your account you will be prompted to sign in and if you do not already have an account on goskyride.com you will need to create your account first to be able to register for the ride.

You must be over 16 to have an account on goskyride.com and many of our rides have age limits so if you are having problems registering for a ride please make sure that you meet the required age limits.

If you have followed the steps above and are still unable to register for one of our rides we would encourage you to turn up to the ride on the day. We always get a number of no shows on the day of our rides as people cannot make it for one reason or another, as long as there is space on the ride on the day you will be able to join the ride and one of our Ride Leaders will be able to confirm your attendance on the ride.

I forgot my password, how do I sign in to my account?

Please go to the sign in page and click on ‘Forgotten your Password?’ – enter your email address here and request for your temporary password to be resent to your email account. You will receive an email from us containing your temporary password, please make sure you allow enough time for this email to come through and remember to check your junk folder as the email is likely to be delivered in to your junk folder.

I have not received my temporary password, how do I activate my account?

Once you have registered on goskyride.com you should receive an email from us containing your temporary password and a link to activate your account. These emails can sometimes take a while to come through so please allow plenty of time for the email to be delivered and make sure you check your junk folder as they are often delivered in to these folders.

If you have still not received your temporary password please go to the sign in page and click on ‘Forgotten your Password?’ – enter your email address here and request for your temporary password to be resent to your email account.

Can I book my friends and family on to the ride with me?

Yes you can book friends and family on to Big Bike Rides and Guided Bike Rides - to add other people to your ride booking please sign in to goskyride.com then go to your dashboard and click on ‘Rides'. You will see the event you are booked on to, click ‘More detail and edit ride’ then 'Edit Booking' and select 'Yes Please.'

You can select a rider from the drop down list to add to your booking or if you do not see the rider you wish to add click on 'Add New Rider' and enter the requested information to add a new person to your booking.

Once you have entered all of the information click on 'Add Participant' and then 'Complete Booking' and the new rider will be added to your booking.

NB. It is not possible to book friends and family on to Buddy Bike Rides – to register for a Buddy Bike Ride you must have your own Ride Social account.

Something’s come up and I can’t make my ride, how do I cancel my place?

To cancel your place on a ride please sign in to your account on goskyride.com and click on the ‘Rides’ tab in your dashboard. You then need to find the ride you wish to cancel your place from and click on ‘More details and edit ride.’ Once you have clicked on this you will see the ‘Cancel Your Place’ button which will allow you to cancel your booking on a ride.

NB. If you cancel your place on a ride it will cancel all places you have booked on the ride, if you just wish to remove yourself or someone else from your booking you will need to click on ‘Edit Booking’ to remove people individually from your booking.
