Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Sara Varian I have been a keen cyclist for many years, commuting to work, touring, introducing pupils at the school where I work to the pleasures of using a cycle to travel short distances and the freedom it offers. I hope as a Sky Ride leader I can continue to do this with a wide range of people.
  • Colin Aimers Colin Aimers I am a ride leader in Carlisle and I wish my day job was riding bikes but instead I run a engineering and environmental consultancy business in Cumbria.

I enjoy time with my young family and getting out and about having traveled with work and pleasure, with and without my bike.
  • Andrew Palmer Good laughs, memorable times whatever the weather. Blow those cobwebs away! Out most weekends, early starts are always the best (family etc). Mainly off road around the 7stanes but exploring more of the lakes too. Good crack with a few mates works wonders. Don't get too technical or go on about the latest stuff - I'd rather just ride the bike!
