Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Karl Faetz Karl Faetz Hi everyone
Let me introduce myself, my name is Karl Faetz and I live in the Earsdon area of Newcastle Upon Tyne. I am married with 3 children.
I started cycling about 3 years ago and was hooked straight away. I really enjoy getting out in the fresh air and discovering new places. We have some beautiful scenic area's in the North East and I am sure you will soon discover just how different everything looks when you're on a bike.
Cycling is a great way to keep fit and loose some weight but most of all it is a fun sport and very satisfying. As a Sky Ride Leader I am here to help you on your journey into cycling and hopefully the start of many more rides.
  • David Kitchen David Kitchen
  • Roderick Joyce I'm 59 and work as a freelance interpreter. I returned to cycling a couple of years ago, after a long break. My bikes are not just for fun; they are my everyday transport, too. I enjoy longer rides at a sensible pace - I'm not out to break any records!
