Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Anthony Green Anthony Green Known as Tony, I'm retired now and ride around St Albans, Welwyn Garden City, Hertford and Watford area of south Hertfordshire where I live. I'm a member of Forty Plus CC.
I ride some local and national Sportive events which are good fun. I'm not overly competitive but enjoy riding in different locations.
Recently completed a ride following the Way of St James, from France to Santiago in northern Spain, over 600 miles in total.
  • Joe Sammon Hi
I have been riding and leading rides in a club for about 5 years now. I try to ride a few sportives when I get the chance and last year I rode from Bilbao to Barcelona for a local charity.

I'm out riding in the coutryside as often as i can and encourage my children to do the same. In my opinion group riding is the safest and best way to
    ride.
  • Brian Johnson In 2010 six of us decided to ride in the Norwich 50 challenge bike ride. That started my interest in cycling and since then I've cycled through stunning scenery in the Outer Hebrides, Scottish Highlands and along Hadrian's Cycleway as well as progressing to the Norwich 100 challenge ride.

I cycle to enjoy the scenery, as an enjoyable way to exercise and for good company and I'm looking forward to helping others find enjoyment in cycling.
