Sky Ride Local in Leeds

Join us on this family ride to the awesome Meanwood Valley Urban Farm.  Setting off from Carr Manor Community School we cycle through Meanwood Valley into the grounds of the Urban Farm all on traffic free and off-road tracks.  The route makes use of the Leeds Cycle Route No. 15.  There will be time for everybody to have a breather and refreshments at Meanwood Valley Urban Farm before making our way back to the start of the ride.

Please note there is a small admission charge for people to enter Meanwood Valley Urban Farm (£1 at the time of writing).  This is payable to the farm on the day and has nothing to do with the ride.

If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour.

Not the most picturesque route but a good level for my 5 year old.
