Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Aaron Butler Aaron Butler I have been cycling at a competitive level since I joined the Army in 2006. In this time I have tried my hand at most disciplines including tri-athlon, time trial, team time trial, road racing, sportives and off road mountain biking.

Both during and prior to this I have always been cycling socially with either my own close group of friends or a local cycling club.

As well as leading rides for skyride I also lead group rides within the Army. It is the first stepping stone for the new recruits we have coming through blandford where I am based. My aim is to promote cycling as both a sport and a social event to as many people as I can.

Rider Comments on the Route

  1. Barry Brand Sunday 13th July
My 8 year old son was very bored on this ride. When we finished he asked “was that it?”. Great for beginners maybe but we’ll be going for something more adventurous next time.
  2. Tracey Young Sunday 13th July
  3. Chris Woodhall Sunday 22nd September
An enjoyable easy-going potter around the paths of the park. Watch out for the dogs, scooters, and pedestrians who cant hear or choose to ignore the bike bells or spoken requests for space on the bike paths
