Sky Ride Local in Milton Keynes

A fantastic route which, after a few miles, has you wheeling through beautiful rolling countryside into the gorgeous Aylesbury Vale. We'll also pass through the lovely villages of Swanbourne and Winslow before retracing part of the outward leg back into town.

You don’t have to be the next Bradley Wiggins, but you’ll need to know your way around a bike and be fairly fit to take part in our Challenging rides. If you’re comfortable riding with other people and fancy a fresh challenge, these rides are perfect for you. They start at around twenty miles long, and are paced at between 11 and 12 miles an hour.

Additional Information

Helmets must be worn by all under 18's regardless of ride level.
Please make sure your bike is in good working order and bring equipment with you to repair punctures, Ride Leaders are there to help but are not responsible for your bike.
All rides leave at the time stated you must arrive early Ride Leaders will not wait.

    I've been cycling all my life, from paper-rounds as a kid, to charity rides in my late teens (London to Brighton etc), a few cycle tours in Europe in my early 20's, then weekly rides with the Cyclists' Touring Club and Team MK club runs and Time Trials.
    For the last six years I've been a Bikeability cycling instructor, teaching adults and school children. If I can make a journey by bike or car, I choose the bike!
    I've been a Skyride leader since 2011 and, when I have the time, take out a Tuesday Social Cycling Group.
