Sky Ride Local in Chorley

If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour. This is a lovely scenic ride, taking  you through Rivington, Chorley, Botany Bay, Parish of Heapy and White Coppice and continuing onto Angezarke before returning back to Rivington via Horwich. Along the route you will pass 4 different reservoirs and ride along some lovely country roads with beautiful scenery. You really do need a camera along this route with all the lovely scenery you will pass. There are some climbs involved in this route, but when you get to the top the views are well worth the burn in your legs.
