Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? Our Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They’re up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour.

Join us for a scenic route that starts from the visitor centre in the park. Riding mostly on woodland track, we’ll pass the woods before stopping for a breather at a picnic area and then retracing our route. This is a flat route and ideal for families or anyone who wants to boost their confidence on a bike.

* Please note that due to the uneven nature of the surface of this route it is not suitable for bikes with stabilisers.

Additional Information

Helmets must be worn by all under 18's regardless of ride level.
All ages are welcome. Those under the age of 5 must be in a BSI approved child seat, trailer or tag-a-long.

Please make sure your bike is in good working order, Ride Leaders are there to help but are not responsible for your bike.

All rides leave at the time stated, you must arrive early Ride Leaders will not wait.

  • Simon Richmond Simon Richmond Hi. I started riding roughly over 3 years ago, Initially I set myself a target to complete a local charity bike ride and gave myself 8 months to train for this that's how i came upon Sky Rides.
    I wasn't the fittest and im still not but i find cycling great fun and enjoyable and have met some great people through getting out on my bike.
