Breeze Bike Rides in Manchester

Make the most of the long evening and join us for a ride from the iconic national cycling centre to Daisy Nook country park.

Whether you've just started riding on roads or a regular rider, this route has plenty to offer. We go through Clayton Vale and up through Woodhouses Village before descending past Crime Lake into Daisy Nook. In order to be able to descend we do unfortunately have to climb a hill, but riders are free to go up at their own pace and will not be left on their own.

We will meet outside Evans Cycles at the National Cycling Centre. Please wear appropriate clothing and bring a drink and a snack as there is no cafe stop on this ride.

Suitable for all bikes, but please be aware that there are some rough surfaces in Daisy Nook.

Look forward to seeing you there!

  • Julia Klinger-Moore Julia Klinger-Moore I was introduced to cycling at a young age and have been addicted ever since. My aim is to help as many people as possible, especially women, have the same opportunity. Cycling is a great way to get around and to keep fit, but more importantly it's really fun! I look forward to meeting you soon.
  • Sarah Shard Sarah Shard My name is Sarah and I am a 'Breeze leader'. I am from East Manchester.

In my spare time i enjoy hockey, swimming, running, cycling and football. Ive delivered many breeze rides now and we have had some good feedback and met lots of great people.

My cycling experience includes riding along the 'Most Dangerous Road in The World' in Bolivia, South America in 2009 and completing the 'Manchester to Chester' ride and 'Manchester 100km' bike rides in 2012.

The rides are sociable, enjoyable and good fun. They are adaptable for all ages and abilities so don't worry if you've not been on a bike for a while, we are there to help! Hope to see you on the next bike ride!
