You don’t have to be the next Bradley Wiggins, but you’ll need to know your way around a bike and be fairly fit to take part in our Challenging rides. If you’re comfortable riding with other people and fancy a fresh challenge, these rides are perfect for you. They start at around twenty miles long, and are paced at between 11 and 12 miles an hour.
If you are up for a challenge then you have come to the right place.  Join us on this 35 mile fantastic route that really makes the most of the fantastic roads and countryside around the area of Riddlesden.  Starting at the beautiful East Riddlesden Hall we make our way on this circular route towards the first great feature of the ride, the Cow and Calf.  Once tackled, we make our way past Addingham and Bolton Abbey before riding some of the beautiful roads in the Yorkshire Dales.  There are plenty of places to stop and admire the views before we make our way back south through Skipton and back to East Riddlesden Hall for a well-deserved cup of tea and cake!
This ride really is up and down so you need to bring your cycling legs but don’t worry too much as there are plenty of places for us to stop, catch a breather and enjoy the views.
Join us on some amazing rides, created in association with our friends at the National Trust. Make the most of some beautiful countryside, and great facilities for cyclists.
