Sky Ride Local in Coventry

This is a lovely circular route encompassing just over 7 miles of leafy suburbs, winding country roads and peaceful cycle tracks. The start location is the Xcel Leisure Centre where we set off down Charter Avenue, past Park Wood, continuing towards Burton Green. Just before Burton Green we join the national cycle route 52, also known as the Kenilworth Greenway Project. We continue on this quiet route all the way back to Kirby corner, through the University Campus and finishing for refreshments at our finish point, the Xcel Leisure Centre.

If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour.
