If you’re comfortable riding with other people and fancy a fresh challenge, these rides are perfect for you. They start at around twenty miles long, and are paced at between 11 and 12 miles an hour.

This 30 mile ride has a bit of everything and will satisfy the more committed cyclist looking for a challenge. The ride starts and finishes at Cannon Hill Park, just off Edgbaston Road. Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Gareth Somers Gareth Somers Hello "Sky Riders"

I came back to cycling some several years ago with an eight mile Sunday morning ride to try and get fit for my first thirty two mile charity ride.
Then I truly got the bug, I love being out on my bike in all weather especially in the sun and ridding with like minded cyclists.
I joined the Skyride team in 2013 and love to see the enjoyment people get (both young and old) from getting out on the bikes and exploring the countryside.I hope you enjoy your Skyride as much as the ride leaders do!
Really looking forward to spreading the word of how much fun cycling can be, lets hope the sun shines this summer on our Sky Rides!!

Ride safe, looking forward to meeting you on your next Sky Ride.

    Gareth
  • Carl Miller Carl Miller Hi there, I started cycling in march 2011 and after taking part in a few Sky Rides found myself hooked. I now cycle to work daily and try to get at least a couple of distance rides in each week. I am looking forward to participating in the Sky Ride program again this year and am looking forward to meeting new riders.
I am a keen scuba diver and enjoy most outdoor activities
  • Luke Harlow Luke Harlow Hi,
If you are new to Sky ride or returning welcome :-)
I've been riding a variety of bikes since I was a child, and as an adult have:
    mountain biked,
    road raced,
    toured the country,
and even raised money for charity.

I'm always keen to chat and if i can do anything to help you out. please let me know.
