Starting Point & Postcode
Lily Hill Drive car park Lily Hill Drive (next to ‘The Running Horse’ pub) RG12 2UG

2 hours 45 mins  (2 hours 0 mins cycling)
Bike Type You probably don’t want to drag your road bike across bumpy trails. Maybe you want to make the most of the suspension on your mountain bike. This helps you match your ride to your bike.

Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Mark Wilkes Mark Wilkes I am a member of the local Berkshire Triathlon Squad (but do not do all three disciplines) and a Business Coach. I have lived on the Bucks Berks boundary for 17 years after returning from Germany. My other sport is Sailing so I have an excuse when it is windy to do something else. I do cycle regularly and enjoy group cycling. I became a Sky Leader to help others enjoy the opportunity to get out and about. I look forwards to meeting you.
  • Andy Game Andy Game I've been a Sky Ride leader for the last 4 years in the Southampton and Bournemouth areas.
I have now moved to Farnborough and so will be doing rides in areas near to here.
I grew up in Bournemouth and Poole.
I have been in the Army for the last 23 years and enjoy teaching all kinds of cycling.
    I hold the following Quals:
    National Bikeability Instructor
    Level 2 British Cycling Leader
British Cycling Off Raod Leading Endorsment
    ABCC Mountain Bike Instructor
    SMBLA Trail Cycle Leader
I also instruct Kayaking and Canoeing, so if i'm not on 2 wheels I'm usually on the water!
I look forward to seeing you on the ride!
  • Caroline Stewart Caroline Stewart Hi,

I've been cycling seriously since I was 14, which is far too long ago, I've raced (occasionally, a long time ago), ridden from Land's End to John O'Groats in 8 days, ride road and a bit of cyclo cross and am a fully qualified professional cycle mechanic.
