If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour.
Enjoy a relaxed off-road ride along the paths and quiet rural roads around Dorney Lake. Beginning at Eton Wick the ride takes you towards the River Thames and then along Dorney Lake. It continues towards the wetlands around the Jubilee River before turning back towards Windsor, along the Thames back to Eton Wick.

Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Richard Wilkerson Richard Wilkerson Hello
I'm Richard, and look forward to meeting you on a SkyRide soon.
  • Mark Wilkes Mark Wilkes I am a member of the local Berkshire Triathlon Squad (but do not do all three disciplines) and a Business Coach. I have lived on the Bucks Berks boundary for 17 years after returning from Germany. My other sport is Sailing so I have an excuse when it is windy to do something else. I do cycle regularly and enjoy group cycling. I became a Sky Leader to help others enjoy the opportunity to get out and about. I look forwards to meeting you.
