Sky Ride Local in Southampton

If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour.
Come and join us on this 'great escape' from the hustle and bustle of the City to the tranquillity of rural lanes, passing close to Broadlands Estate in Romsey (home of Lord Louis Mountbatten where Prince Charles and Diana Spencer spent their wedding night). We will return via the wonderful new cycle path through Adanac Park, passing the new headquarters of the Ordnance Survey. This is a great ride for people looking to take their cycling a bit further.

Rider Comments on the Route

  1. Melike Oguz-Alper Tuesday 20th August
  2. Elif Kara Monday 19th August
The ride was okay overall but the route was not that interesting and there was no break (because there was no cafe, etc on the top of the hill) to enjoy the environment and catch up with other riders.
  3. Cosmina Cross Sunday 18th August
lovely ride and great bunch of people... the route was easier than I though and quite slow; really enjoyable
  4. Ali Baker Sunday 18th August
