Sky Ride Local in Knowsley

This 11 mile wander begins in the lush grounds of Court Hey Park, next to the National Wildlife Centre. From there we ride out through the estate making our way to the traffic free National Cycle Network 62. Route 62 is a perfect ride for those wanting a traffic free environment and tranquil scenery. We ride this for nearly 3 miles before jumping off at West Derby making our way towards the leafy Croxteth Park. Riding on cycle paths we tour the park, circulating Croxteth Hall where we could stop for a refreshing drink or slice before returning on route 62 all the way back to our origin at Court Hey Park.

If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour.
