Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? Our Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They’re up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour.
A rural ride with magnificent views of Staffordshire. The ride starts in the outskirts of the county town of Stafford with its many attractions and places of interest to visit. With views of Stafford Castle the route quickly leaves the traffic behind heading out along the Greenway cycle track (Disused Railway) passing  the  village of Derrington where there is an opportunity for refreshment and a childrens play area.  The return is slightly down hill to Stafford.
Please note that ST16 1BG is the post code for Stafford Rugby Club.  From here take the Kingsway North then 2nd exit off the next island onto Martin Drive. 2nd exit off next island continuing on Martin Drive. Carpark is on the left at end of road.

Additional Information

Helmets must be worn by all under 18's regardless of ride level.
All ages are welcome. Those under the age of 5 must be in a BSA approved child seat, trailer or tag-a-long.

Please make sure your bike is in good working order, Ride Leaders are there to help but are not responsible for your bike.

All rides leave at the time stated, you must arrive early Ride Leaders will not wait. 

Car Parking
Yes, at small car park at the start of ride. It can be reached by taking the Newport Road A518 out of Stafford heading West. At the island take the 2nd exit onto Kings Way then straight on (2nd exit) at next island onto Martins Drive the car park is at the end of the road on the left.
