Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Davy Broni Davy Broni I have always had a tremendous passion for personal development & the outdoors which I combine to help individuals examine their self-limiting beliefs & break through to new levels of performance - physical, mental & spiritual - & we always have a lot of fun on the way :)

In addition to joining Sky Ride as a Ride Leader in 2009, I have been coaching, training and inspiring people in all aspects of Adventure Racing for around 15 years through my D2B Adventure and DAFT Jogging groups - where our motto is COME TEST YOUR BODY & RELEASE YOUR SOUL !. This has involved taking people who have done little or no cycling, MTB, running, kayaking, swimming, etc and helping them progress swiftly towards their true potential, often leading to participation in multi-day Adventure Races such as the Hebridean Challenge, etc.

For the past few years, I've also been working with various Adventure Racing event companies such as Rat Race Adventure Sports, Scottish Athletics, 2:09 Events, Salomon, etc to put together events such as the Mighty Deerstalker, City to Summit, Coast-to-Coast, Salomon Turbo-X, Survival of the Fittest, Hebridean Challenge, etc.

For more info and details of my free AR taster/training events, see my Facebook profiles at facebook.com/d2b.adventure and http://profile.to/davybroni/

If you have any concerns or queries you'd like to discuss before your Sky Ride, I'd be delighted to hear from you.

I look forward to meeting up with you for some outdoor fun soon :-)

Rider Comments on the Route

  1. Andrew Burns Sunday 8th June
  2. bill mcgeechan Sunday 30th June
Ride leaders did great job getting everyone round the route despite the number of roadworks in place. Local council should ensure that all barriers are secure. ride leaders had to move barriers that had blown onto cycle track.
  3. christine watson Wednesday 24th August
great family ride well managed by leaders considering part of route restricted due to another event.
  4. kevin harvey Tuesday 23rd August
good day apart from the hold up with the runners
