Breeze Bike Rides in Eastleigh

Following the success of our Hamble ride, we will ride a very similar route, but will cut through from Hamble to the Royal Victoria Country Park at Netley
This ride is approximately 14 miles. There are hilly bits, but, as usual, you can take them at your own pace or walk – there is no pressure, we all stay together.
We will leave Haskins Garden Centre and head for Hamble. To begin with it’s on road with traffic, but after Bursledon we get onto the Dani King cycle path to Hamble. There we cut through the new cycle path to the Royal Victoria Country Park. There is a lovely cafe where we will stop for a well earned rest and refuelling! We'll always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no-one is left behind. Any type of bike is suitable as long as it's in reasonable working order.
Because of the distance and hills, this ride is not really suited to a novice, but if you have been out with us a few times, you should be fine.
Car parking at Haskins is free. We look forward to seeing you there.

  • Ann Smyth Ann Smyth I have been cycling seriously for a few years now with the CTC (Cycle Touring Club), and thoroughly enjoy my hobby. I have cycled in France and Holland as well as the UK. The idea of Breeze rides to encourage more women to gain confidence cycling on the roads of today I believe is a fantastic idea, so I trained to be a champion. Riding as part of a group is a great social event and being led on a route makes discovering new areas much easier and more enjoyable. So I look forward to leading rides in and around my area, and hope to give confidence to many.
