Help us grow the Breeze network
Published 17 May 2011
The Breeze network launches today. We caught up with Natalie Justice, Breeze's Programme Manager at British Cycling.
"Hooray! The Breeze network has launched. We’re excited and think that Breeze is going to make a huge difference to bike riding opportunities for women. There's much to do as we train local champions and help local groups set up across the country. Now we're live we'll be be adding rides and opportunities all the time – so make us a favourite and join us on Facebook and Twitter too."
As the programme develops you'll find more rides being added, and more opportunities to take part. Natalie explains how you can get involved: "Breeze is what we women want it to be. And Breeze needs you! Could you become a local champion and set up a group? Or get involved in going on the rides? Or promoting bike riding to friends and colleagues?
"Breeze is the biggest programme ever to get more women into riding bikes for fun. It'll help women feel confident and comfortable about going on a bike ride, learning how to ride a bike or getting access to a bike.
"If all of us get involved Breeze will grow and grow. So please tell your friends and be part of the Breeze network!"
