Cycling in Kingston upon Thames
Kingston upon Thames is a great place to cycle, and now there are even more opportunities to get out and about on your bike in the area.
This year Kingston has hosted a series of friendly neighbourhood Sky Ride Local rides. Keep an eye out for Social Cycling Groups, and Breeze bike rides for women too!
Activities in your area
Great news – there are some fantastic Sky Ride Local community rides coming to your area. They're a great way to get out and explore your neighbourhood with family and friends.
Also, keep an eye out for Social Cycling Groups – a brand new way to connect with other like-minded cyclists, find groups and join rides. If there aren't any in your area yet, you could think about creating your own.
And in the meantime, check out some of the other cycling opportunities in your area by clicking one of the tabs above.

Clubs

British Cycling can help you find a club that’s right for you. Check out the club finder to find a club near you. There are some great cycling clubs in Kingston who will be happy for you to come along and ride with them, including:
Kingston Junior Cycle Club (KJCC)
KJCC is the only club dedicated purely to developing young cycling talent, and is extremely excited in the build up to the Olympic Cycle race and time trial-there is no better time than now to get into cycling with the inspiration of knowing Mark Cavendish will be racing over Kingston Bridge this year. KJCC is a cycling programme for young people which includes a variety of fun games and skill based ‘grass’ activities that will give any cyclist more confidence on their bike. A typical session could include obstacle courses, limbo games, track races, group races and cyclo-cross; as well as a towpath ride along by the river.
