Be the first to try a BMX taster session

The brand new National Indoor BMX Centre will open its doors to the public on Saturday 6th August – and you could be trying out its state of the art facilities. British Cycling and Manchester City Council, in partnership with New East Manchester, have been working together to deliver the 110,000 sq foot facility at Sportcity.
To mark Sky Ride Manchester, which takes place the next day on Sunday 7th August, the venue will be hosting BMX Opening Day Velodrome Tasters. Sessions start at 1.00pm, 2.00pm, 3.00pm and 4.00pm, and they can be booked in advance or on the day by calling the National Cycling Centre on 0161 223 2244 (choose option 3). Sessions are free, including bike and helmet hire, and shoes can be booked on the day at a cost of £4.50 per pair. Please arrive at the National Cycling Centre 15 minutes before the start of your booked session.
