British Cycling launches Breeze network
Published 25 May 2011
British Cycling has launched its Breeze network of social bike rides for women.
Breeze is a unique network of fun, friendly and social bike rides for women, led by women. It’s all about bike riding for fun, in small sociable groups, on local, accessible routes. They might be round the park or on quiet cycle ways and residential roads. And they’ll often finish up with coffee and cake too!
Rides will be led by specially trained Breeze champions who are friendly and enthusiastic about taking small groups of women on bike rides. If you’re interested in becoming a Breeze champion, there are courses taking place around the country throughout June. We’re particularly keen to hear from women in London, Manchester, Hull, and Ipswich. If you’re over 18 and interested in finding out more, email breeze@britishcycling.org.uk
