Where will your bike take you?

Sky Ride city events are a nationwide series of summer events to encourage people to get back on their bikes. In 2010, over 200,000 people took part in free-mass participation rides all over the UK.

The Breeze network from British Cycling is all about fun, local bike rides for women, by women – and there's a whole range of support, training and ride opportunities too. The network's informal and relaxed. It’s what you want it to be.

Sky Ride Local rides are fun, friendly and free community bike rides that help you get out and explore your local area. They’re led by a British Cycling trained ride leader who can provide support and give you a few tips, whatever your age or ability.

Get the skills, grow in confidence and keep cycling! Whether you’re just starting out on a bike, thinking about cycling more, or simply nuts about bikes – there’s a British Cycling Bike Maintenance Workshop for you.

Bikes and helmets

Just how big can cycling get in Britain? And how might its size affect what cycling looks like?

The Building Cycling Cultures conference taking place in Leicester on 4th and 5th June aims to celebrate and explore cycling through workshops, debate, networking, film and, of course, rides. Participants will be exploring findings from two big recent research projects into cycling, and opening up the discussion on how big cycling in Britain can get, and how we can best get there.
