Don't throw away that old bike - recycle it!

If you've got some tired old bikes in the garage or shed, or if you're upgrading to new models and are wondering what to do with the old ones, then you'll want to know about Manchester's brilliant Bike Reuse and Recycling Project.

Believe it or not there are plenty of people out there who would love your old bike, including community and youth groups across Manchester who are crying out for unwanted adults and children’s bikes to repair, refurbish and reuse.

By pairing your donated bike with organisations who can get it back into great condition, the project aims to stop bikes going into landfills; support people to become independent with their travel, gain skills in bike maintenance and become confident cyclists; and help volunteers with skill sharing opportunities and quality training.
