Free biking sessions for women and girls
Published 11 September 2011
Starting in October, women and girls in Glasgow have a great new opportunity to get out and about and have fun riding bikes.
Backbone, in association with Forestry Commission Scotland, are organising free woodland biking sessions. Participants will get the chance to explore their local woodlands, and make the most of a safe, fun and comfortable environment to learn to ride a bike or increase their riding confidence. The sessions are for women and girls from all backgrounds, and there'll be bike coaching to help you brush up on your riding skills.
And don't worry if you haven't got wheels of your own – bikes and helmets are provided!
