Where will your bike take you?

Sky Ride city events are a nationwide series of summer events to encourage people to get back on their bikes. In 2010, over 200,000 people took part in free-mass participation rides all over the UK.

Sky Ride Local rides are fun, friendly and free community bike rides that help you get out and explore your local area. They’re led by a British Cycling trained ride leader who can provide support and give you a few tips, whatever your age or ability.

The Breeze network from British Cycling is all about fun, local bike rides for women, by women – and there's a whole range of support, training and ride opportunities too. The network's informal and relaxed. It’s what you want it to be.

Get the skills, grow in confidence and keep cycling! Whether you’re just starting out on a bike, thinking about cycling more, or simply nuts about bikes – there’s a British Cycling Bike Maintenance Workshop for you.

Mass commute to Norwich gathers steam

A 'mass commute' by bike is taking place between Wymondham and Norwich on Friday 23rd September.

It's the latest in a series of initiatives across the country which aim to make commuting by bike safer and more fun. Organisers are appealing to anyone who's thought about getting fit, saving money and protecting the environment – but who might need a nudge to help them get on their bike – to join them for the ride.

Members of the 'Wymondham Approach' team will be leading one or more groups into Norwich, giving as much encouragement and advice as they can. There’ll even be someone on hand to help with a puncture or other mechanical problems.
