Overcome your puncture fear!
Published 31 May 2011
Getting a puncture, miles from home, is daunting for even the most experienced cyclist. But setting off on a great bike ride with the peace of mind that your bike is safe and set up correctly will allow you to enjoy your bike rides even more.
Now British Cycling are offering brilliant Introduction to Bike Maintenance workshops – and with absolutely no need for any previous knowledge or experience of bike maintenance, this workshop is ideal for any recreational cyclist.
British Cycling's workshops are delivered in partnership with Spike Taylor and his Pro Tool School. Peter 'Spike' Taylor has been a bike mechanic for 18 years, working with the GB team for 11 years. Total Bike Repair and Maintenance magazine last year described Spike as “the world's best bike mechanic” – so you’ll be in safe hands.
