What's on at Sky Ride

Sky Rides are a great way to experience riding through the streets of your town and city – totally traffic-free. This year we’re rolling out a real festival atmosphere, with even more things to do at the event, both on and off the bike.

The Hub is the place to collect your Sky Ride Pass, pick up your Sky Ride bib, and find out about loads of other cycling events and opportunities taking place near you. Meet your local Ride Leaders and Breeze champions, and check out our interactive map of local rides.

Experts from Halfords will be on hand if your bike needs a quick check up before the ride. This is also where you’ll find our Bike Cafe – a perfect place to meet friends or relax with a coffee and a piece of cake.

Our brand new Tricks & Tunes area features the chance to try some extreme cycling (fancy jumping on your bike onto our giant air bag?), watch stunt demos from the amazing Voodoo Unicycles team, or chill out with music from our resident DJ. Coaches from British Cycling’s Go Ride programme will also be running skills sessions for under-16s – and there’s a chance to win a bike too.

At The Marketplace you’ll find loads of community organisations and clubs, plus local bike shops, retailers and places to get a bite to eat or drink.
