Tram and Lake Loop

Sunday 20th October at 10.00am This is what time the ride will set off. It’s best to get to the starting point at least 15 minutes beforehand to avoid missing the start.

Starting Point & Postcode
Croydon Sports Arena Car Park, off Albert Road South Norward Country Park, South Norwood SE25 4QL
Overall Duration On a long ride, it’s sometimes good to have a little break in the middle, or maybe a catch up at the beginning or end to keep it sociable. This means that the overall ride duration may be longer than the actual cycling time.
1 hours 25 mins  (45 mins cycling)
Bike Type You probably don’t want to drag your road bike across bumpy trails. Maybe you want to make the most of the suspension on your mountain bike. This helps you match your ride to your bike.

Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Darren Newman
  • Neil Harvey I love biking.
  • Mehmet Mulla Mehmet Mulla I've been cycling from a very young age and now do a mixture of exploring and commuting. I think Cycling is a great way to get active, have fun and get/stay fit. Beyond recommending it i like to promote it through various means including being a ride leader.
  • Giuseppe Morrone Giuseppe Morrone Hi there cycling fans and enthusiasts!

I've been a casual cyclist for the last 15 years however on advice from my doctor to get more exercise I had to choose an activity that could keep me interested. The gym was not the answer. So I turned to cycling as a much more serious hobby. I began training for the Prudential London Surrey Ride 100 last Autumn and have never looked back. I ride mostly on a road bike but I have now found a fondness for mountain biking too.

I'm a big enthusiast for cycling, its a great way to get around, especially in London, and its a great way to get out and socialise and do something healthy at the same time.

I look forward to seeing you all on the Skyride!
  • Johnny Innes Hello,

I'm Johnny, a keen cyclist living in London. I commute on a daily basis and also enjoy longer, leisurely rides.

I've ridden a bike since childhood and understand the value of cycling with confidence and enjoyment. I'm looking forward to sharing that same experience as a ride leader.

See you soon on two wheels.

    Cheers,
    Johnny
