Binfield Rural Rouleur

Sunday 1st September at 10.00am This is what time the ride will set off. It’s best to get to the starting point at least 15 minutes beforehand to avoid missing the start.

Starting Point & Postcode
Grass area outside Binfield Library Benetfield Road RG42 4JZ
Overall Duration On a long ride, it’s sometimes good to have a little break in the middle, or maybe a catch up at the beginning or end to keep it sociable. This means that the overall ride duration may be longer than the actual cycling time.
2 hours 25 mins  (1 hours 45 mins cycling)
Bike Type You probably don’t want to drag your road bike across bumpy trails. Maybe you want to make the most of the suspension on your mountain bike. This helps you match your ride to your bike.

Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Neil Fanneran
  • Tim Janes I love cycling and have cycled the Mayor of London's Sky Ride with my children twice. I am a very keen long distance road cyclist, but love just getting out in the fresh air with the wind in my face on any type of ride, even if it is just down to the shops.

I hope to encourage you to enjoy the fun of cycling.

    Best regards

    Tim
  • Mark Wilkes Mark Wilkes I am a member of the local Berkshire Triathlon Squad (but do not do all three disciplines) and a Business Coach. I have lived on the Bucks Berks boundary for 17 years after returning from Germany. My other sport is Sailing so I have an excuse when it is windy to do something else. I do cycle regularly and enjoy group cycling. I became a Sky Leader to help others enjoy the opportunity to get out and about. I look forwards to meeting you.
