Social Cycling Groups in Manchester
This ride was originally scheduled to start from Platt Fields Park. The starting location has moved due to a large event being held in the park over the weekend.
We'll be taking in part of the Manchester Airport Orbital Route on our way to Wilmslow, where we'll stop for coffee before heading back to Withington via Cheadle.
The route is suitable for hybrids or road bikes as we will mainly be riding along roads and tarmac cycle paths. It can be completed on mountain bikes, though this will be harder work on your legs to maintain the brisk pace of 10 to 12 mph that we'll be aiming for.
The ride is not suitable for young children.
