Sky Ride Local in Haringey

This is a perfect ride for anybody wanting to get out and really feel like they are escaping the city on a Sunday.  The Parkland Walk is one of North London’s hidden gems. The ride itself follows the route of a disused railway line and offers a mix of forest-like trails and breathtaking views of north London. This route links the trail with the iconic Alexandra Palace and Finsbury Park.  This route is two laps so it is perfect for riders who want to do the full 15 miles or if you have had enough cycling for one day at the half way point it's the ideal drop out point.

If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour.

Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Uche Madu Uche Madu I am an amateur cyclist, that loves to go out on a weekend, and have a good time
  • Adrian Besley Adrian Besley Things I like about cycling: Getting to the top of a hill; chatting as I go; freedom; breeze in my face; soft sucking of tyre on tarmac; more chatting; discovery; screaming in joy on a downhill; freewheeling...

Things I don't like about cycling: Lorries; headwinds.

    That's settled then.
  • Robert Howard Robert Howard Hi i am a keen cyclist who cycles almost everyday.

Now i have the pleasure of cycling to London Stratford every day where i pass the velodrome and work in the shadow of the Olympic stadium, great views & inspirational!

Looling forward to another enjoyable year with sky ride
Normally stuck behind a desk all day so this is a great way to commute & exercise all in one,
