Sky Ride Local in Lincoln

Beginning at Welton Village Hall, this ride will be taking in the small villages of Hackthorn and Spridlington on a lovely little loop into the countryside. The ride is relatively flat and uses quiet roads making it a lovely family ride and great for anyone looking to improve their confidence on a bike. Along the route we'll pass the church and Spridlington and there will be some lovely views of the Lincolnshire countryside.

If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Mark Hall Mark Hall I cycle for fun and to keep fit, and that I believe is what Sky Ride is all about. Cycling should be fun and these rides provide the ideal opportunity to meet new people, visit new places and get out and about. It doesn't matter what standard of rider you are or the bike you ride (so long as it works!) So come on and enjoy a ride with us ... and best of all they're free.

... and me? Bikes are my hobby, I cycle bikes and fix them (when I have too). I've done the C2C (Whitehaven to Tynemouth) on a tandem with my daughter over 3 days and Ride Around London (120 miles) in a day. I also hold a C&G; Level 2 Certificate in Cycle Mechanics.

Look forward to meeting you on the ride.

  • Andy Wheatley Andy Wheatley I'm in the RAF as an aircraft technician. I love getting out in the Lincolnshire countryside exploring the beautiful scenery on my bike. I'm looking forward to riding new routes and meeting new people at a nice relaxed pace. You will easily recognise me as I am a really tall dude!

Rider Comments on the Route

It was a lovely ride and I may have incorrectly added the wrong rating it should be a 10/10. I highly recommend getting out on your bike.
