Fossedyke Fun, Boats, Birds and a Pub either end!

This ride is a beautiful gentle cycle between two wonderful Inn's that goes along the lovely Fossdyke Navigation on a designated Cycle path with views across fields, waterways and train lines meaning you'll see many different things on your cycle ride from swans and herons, to trains, tractors and boats. We'll go over and under bridges and  straight along a lovely flat purpose made canal cycle path.

Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? Our Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They’re up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour.

Additional Information

Helmets must be worn by all under 18's regardless of ride level.
All ages are welcome. Those under the age of 5 must be in a BSA approved child seat, trailer or tag-a-long.

Please make sure your bike is in good working order, Ride Leaders are there to help but are not responsible for your bike.

All rides leave at the time stated, you must arrive early Ride Leaders will not wait.

• Phil Welch Hello. I like any excuse to use my bike - been doing so for a long time. I like to encourage others to use theirs more - such a versatile efficient means of transport, whether for commuting, competing or exploring. I like to go fast (try) sometimes but just as happy to go for a pootle. Also experienced bike mechanic.

• Mark Waller I have been cycling for many years. Started off in mountain biking, when I was in the Army as a way of keeping fit. Many years later I have discovered Road cycling, have competed in several Sportives, most notable being the Lincoln GP. Planning on completing the 100 mile distance next year. I am am a member of the Lincoln Wheelers Cyling Club, which I enjoy very much. I have also carried out rides for charity.
