Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? Our Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They’re up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour.

Starting from the café in the park at the Coventry War Memorial park this is a lovely gentle, traffic free route for all levels and abilities. We will enjoy the park slowly from two wheels and wave to the birds and the squirrels as we spin past. There is plenty of opportunity for "a nice brew or ice cream" after we have ridden. It is a small park but we will ride as many laps as the group are happy to do.

We will be sharing the park with other users so please be ready for an easy ride that is happy to stop and make way for others as necessary.

Additional Information

Helmets must be worn by all under 18's regardless of ride level.
All ages are welcome. Those under the age of 5 must be in a BSA approved child seat, trailer or tag-a-long.

Please make sure your bike is in good working order, Ride Leaders are there to help but are not responsible for your bike.

All rides leave at the time stated, you must arrive early Ride Leaders will not wait.

Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Christopher Brock Christopher Brock I've been an extremely keen cyclist for many many years now. Cycling for me started as a result of wanting to get fit and healthy, turning into my passion very quickly there after. I ride most working days as a means to commute to and from work (30 mile round trip) as well as riding with a Warwickshire based group on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings. I have taken part in numerous and various sportives and charity cycling events (Both on and off-road events), the highlight of which was riding London to Paris in 2011, just in time for the arrival of the the Tour De France along the Champs Elysees. Having just completed The Tour of Wessex for the second time in as many years, one of the worlds longest three day cycling sportives, I'm all ready to support other cyclists with their goals in 2014 and coming times.
