Sky Ride Local in Bradford

Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? Our Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They’re up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour.

This is a family/novice ride in the award-winning Lister Park.  The traffic-free ride uses the wider roadways through the park and avoids the "big hill".  The park has so much to offer - the magnificent Cartwright Hall is a must-see and one of six listed buildings within the park. Don't miss the floral clock, wonderful formal gardens and the Moghul water feature and fountains. No wonder Lister Park won Britain's Best Park back in 2006 and what better way to explore it than by bike? You can choose to do two or three laps of the park and there's a great lakeside cafe for refreshments. Feel free to bring your own picnic if the weather is fine.

Pedal and Picnic in the Park is an inclusive ride, so whatever your ability please do register to join in the fun. If you require an adapted bike or assistance on the day then please contact Dean Carroll, Bradford Disability Sport and Leisure on 01274 437093 or via email at bsr@btconnect.com
