Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Dennis Fitton Dennis Fitton I spent many hours prior to my 15th birthday with my nose in a Raleigh catalogue whilst trying to persuade my father to buy me a Raleigh Lenton.
This cost a staggering £22. He bought me the bike and my world opened up. All of a sudden the city boy in Birmingham who had hardly been anywhere was exploring the beautiful counties of the Midlands and Wales.
I am still cycling after 60 years and enjoying it just as much. I have cycled in most countries in Europe and on other continents too, but the lanes in Hertfordshire where I now live are as good as any I have seen.
Most of the best things in my life have happened through cycling: I even met my wife when visiting a friend to borrow his bike.
  • lorenzo cesaratto i'am a leisure based rider and enjoy discovering and visiting different places on my bike. I also enjoy the social side of cycling.
  • Nick Lilley Nick Lilley I've been an obsessive cyclist for over 35 years and have taken part in a multitide of charity rides. I taught all 3 of my daughters to ride a bike as well as my wife when she was in her 30's !
Cycling is such an easy and healthy way of getting around town and commuting to work. I HATE traffic jams !
It is so important to gain confidence on a bike both on and off road. These Sky Rides are the perfect way to do this.
