Sky Ride Local in Nottingham

If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour.Starting at Queen's Drive Park & Ride we will meander along the River Trent admiring the beautiful views heading towards Beeston Weir, after a brief stop at the Weir the ride will continue through Beeston Marina to Attenborough Nature Reserve. Slowing the pace to take in the vast array of nature around us, the recently improved Riverside Path will take us gracefully to our half time rest stop at Attenborough Nature Centre. After a short break we will head down the Bridleway to pop out in Attenborough Village where we will pass St Mary's Church and Attenborough Village Green, if we’re lucky we might even see a game of cricket. Finally we will head back through the Nature Reserve and follow Beeston Canal until we meet up with Thane Road where the shared cycle path will return us swiftly to the Park & Ride.
