Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Kevin Craney Kevin Craney Hi Guys.
2014 will be my first year as a sky ride lead rider and i can't wait to get started.

I'm Kev, I'm a keen cyclist and get out on my bike as often as I can. I recently started cycling again as a way to save money commuting to and from work. I've since been bitten by the cycling bug, and am almost addicted to cycling. I mostly ride a hybrid for work and fitness but have been on mountain bike treks and sometimes on a road bike.

I love the freedom of going anywhere within reason and my fitness is getting better and better.

I'm looking forward to doing many skyrides and meeting loads of new and interesting people.

I look forward to seeing you there

    Kev
  • Melanie Connell I started cycling regularly again a few years ago when I taught my son to ride. First just round parks and traffic free routes, now my confidence has grown so much I have got rid of my car and use my bike as my main mode of transport. I enjoy the social aspect that riding in a group has given me so seized the opportunity to become a ride leader for British Cycling with Sky Ride Local. I love cycling and if I can inspire more people to share my passion I will gain real job satisfaction. I look forward to meeting lots of new Sky Riders this season!
