Where to promote my Breeze bike rides

Women on cycles

Coaxing women to come out on your Breeze bikes rides during the autumn and winter months can be a bit tricky at times. Finding the time to promote your rides can also be a bit of a juggling act! We’ve put together a few helpful hints that will make ladies stop what they’re doing at a drop of a hat and join a Breeze bike ride (and they won’t take up chunks of your time).

  • You’ve got your Saturday hair appointment – why not take a bunch of Breeze leaflets and your ride list on your editable posters and leave them in the reception area? Have a good natter with the boss so they know what Breeze is all about.
  • During your weekly shop, pop a few business cards and your editable posters up on the community notice board. It’s a great way to target mums.
  • If you’re dropping your kids off at nursery, visiting the mum and toddler class, or doing the school run, why not spend 10 minutes taking to other women about the fabulous Breeze bike rides you’re running in the area. Word of mouth is a powerful tool.
  • Slimming world and other weight loss groups are popping up all over the country and are full of potential Breeze riders. It’s no secret that riding your bike can help you lose and maintain weight, so get down there and speak to the class coordinator about the benefits of a Breeze bike ride.
  • On your afternoon walk, pop into that lovely café and ask if you could leave a few leaflets and posters on their counter. You could even say that you’ll pop into the café during your ride for a well-earned pit stop.
  • Leafleting in and around the start and finishing points of your rides works really well in attracting locals on rides.

Other locations that are proving very popular for Breeze posters are:  libraries, local park notice boards, church and WI groups, indoor children’s play areas, GP surgeries, local bike shops, primary schools and leisure centres.
