Off-Road - Ride Steady

Sky Ride Local in Surrey

Get out and explore the countryside with the brand new rural off-road routes from Sky Ride Local.  Off-road Ride Steady is mostly traffic free rural bike riding for the family and novice cyclist.  There is barely a metre of tarmac in sight on these rides so come and enjoy the scrunch of gravel and the squelch of mud under your tyres with us!

Join us for this easy-going off-road route that starts from The Olive Tree in Sutton Green. Riding on tow path and field tracks we will follow the River Wey Navigation from Triggs Lock to Pyrford Lock before stopping for a breather at Pyrford Lock and then retracing our route. This is a sometimes-muddy and fun off-road cycle ride that is ideal for those who want to explore the riverside by bike!

Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Neville Dick
  • Chris Bore Sky Rides are brilliant! Cycling in a group, following the British Cycling system, is a sociable and safe feeling. My wife Sarah and I both lead Sky Rides from Woking and really enjoy it - not only that Sky Ride leading is fun and challenging, but also that we meet lots of new people and have great fun. If you're thinking about joining us on a Sky Ride, then do it - you will like it.

I am a Sky Ride route planner as well which means I have the added enjoyment of cycling to find new safe fun routes, and talking to the people who own private accesses so we can sometimes go where no cyclist has gone (legitimately) before.
