Sky Ride Local in Knowsley

You don’t have to be the next Bradley Wiggins, but you’ll need to know your way around a bike and be fairly fit to take part in our Challenging rides. If you’re comfortable riding with other people and fancy a fresh challenge, these rides are perfect for you. They start at around twenty miles long, and are paced at between 11 and 12 miles an hour.

This is a lovely flowing ride which encircles the estate of the Earl of Derby in Knowsley. We head out via St Helens, Thatto Heath, Clock Face, Bold Heath where we have a lovely cake break lined up, Penketh, Cronton and finally back to Knowsley via Childwall. The ride is challenging in nature but easily attainable by anybody that fancies putting themselves to the test!

Additional Information

Helmets must be worn by all under 18's regardless of ride level.
Please make sure your bike is in good working order and bring equipment with you to repair punctures, Ride Leaders are there to help but are not responsible for your bike.
All rides leave at the time stated you must arrive early Ride Leaders will not wait.

    I am a first year ride leader and am so excited to be getting involved with goskyride! I have been a cyclist all of my life, and after a short hiatus from the sport due to health reasons, I have fallen back in love with my bike and love nothing better than getting out on the roads!

    I am looking forward to meeting up with you all on the new sky ride local rides in Knowsley and the surrounding area and I hope that I can inspire lots of people to get involved and use your bikes as often as possible!
