Are you up for a challenge?!
This ride starts out form the wonderful Occombe Farm on the edge of Torbay and uses quiet roads and bridal ways to explore the countryside nearby.
The destination for this ride is the typical Devon Village of Denbury, but before we get there we will pass by the medieval fortress of Compton Castle with high its high curtain walls and towers. www.nationaltrust.org.uk/compton-castle
Once in Denbury there will be chance to stop for a break and refreshments at the Village green.
After our stop we will meander our way back through Ipplepen and Marldon before getting back to Occombe Farm.
Although short at 13 miles this is a hilly and challenging route as we climb away from the coast so make sure your gears are working well and be prepared to tackle the hills.
