Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Chris Kirby Chris Kirby Hello All,
Few of you Sky Riders already know me and... well that's enough about me as Sky Rides are about you.
If your looking to meet new friends, gain confidence, learn new routes, get the kids out for some exercise and enjoyment or to simply ride a bike then tune in, sign up and ride with the Sky Ride Leaders.
Hopefully see you on a ride very soon and check out Sky Ride Stockton on Facebook for what we get up to.
  • Chris Orr Hello,

In to my 3rd season as a SkyRide leader now, and looking forward to another summer of cycling.

I have been interested in cycling all my life, mainly in the Mountain Bike arena. I work as Cycling Officer for Middlesbrough Council, so my love of bikes has spilled over into my day job.

Commuting by bike to work allows me to ride nearly every day in some way or shape, and I love the freedom from the car that it brings.
I've completed the C2C (Coast to Coast) twice, and this year I'm attempting the London to Paris route, where I'm hoping my ride leader skills will work on the other side of the road...

Hope to see you all on a ride at some time,

    Cheers
    Chris
  • Paul Stocks Hi, I'm Paul - aged 37 and i'm from Middlesbrough. I Attended a Skyride leadership course in May 2013 as an opportunity to do something different, something for the community and for cycling.

I started riding on an old mountain bike about 10 years ago and I've never really looked back. Don't try it - It's quite a tricky manoeuvre on a bike!

Seriously, I love cycling and i'm just looking forward to getting out on the Sky rides and meeting you all.

    See you soon.
