Sky Ride Local in Knowsley

Come Join the Sky Ride Leaders for a totally traffic free cycle ride along the Ralla. The route is flat so it is ideal for very young children to ride their bikes in a safe environment.  The 4 mile route follows the old Liverpool Loop Line out to Childwall before we return along the same route to take in the Halewood Triangle Park.

Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? Our Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They’re up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour.

Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Mark Danson Mark Danson Hi, my name is Mark & I completed the Lead Riders Course in March 2014. I ride out most weekends, and try to commute to work when possible.
I have a Cylcocross bike, which enables me to ride on both road & off road.
I look forward to welcoming all, who come along & participate in Sky Rides. I hope the experience gives you the drive to keep coming back & encourage others to join in on your next Sky Ride.
  • Nancy Waine Nancy Waine This is my first year as a Sky Leader and am so glad I have the chance to share rides with local people. I have been back into cycling for almost 12 months and am loving it. We try to get out out a couple of times a week, cycling canal tow paths and disused rail lines... I love the flat (although I am getting better at hills!). I have participated in a few Sky rides and they are fabulous for gaining confidence and finding new places to cycle in the local area.

Come along and join in the fun :)
