Sky Ride Local in Bristol

A little gem of a route through the industrial backbones of Avonmouth to Severn Beach.  During the ride you will see some impressive 100 metres plus high wind turbines as well as the location of some of the well known household brands.  There will be a good chance to spot wild rabbits hopping along the traffic free cycle route section of the ride as we make our way towards our destination. At Severn Beach we will enjoy riding along the seawall path taking in the magnificent views.  The pleasant spot at the end of the seawall path will greet you with a view of the original Severn Crossing bridge in the distance as well as information about migrating birds seen in the area.  This is a ride with lots of opportunities to take pictures, so bring your camera! If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour.
