Breeze Bike Rides in Plymouth

London 2012 has proved to be one of most significant and game-changing times for women’s cycling and we want to celebrate this unprecedented era and invite you all to Breeze in the Park. The Breeze network will be transforming Plymouth's Devonport Park into a bike riding haven as we encourage women to take to their bikes with friends and children and join others to celebrate this success. 

Sneaky peak of what’s in store:  

Meeting place: At the British Cycling Gazebo near to Devonport Park Cafe. We'll be there from 2pm - 4pm.

Breeze bike rides will be taking place with our Breeze champions throughout the afternoon, with one starting at 2.30pm and the other at 3.30pm. Both rides are suitable for all ages and all abilities. This is a great opportunity for you to see Devonport Park like you've never seen it before.

Breeze will be at the local cafe. This is the perfect opportunity to find out more about the Breeze Network and meet like-minded women. They’ll also be fun toys to keep the children entertained and amused. We’ll provide some refreshments but perhaps it might be worth bringing a few pennies if you want something more substantial.

  I'm a mum of 3 and grandma of 2 who works as a Cycling Officer for Torbay Council, teaching Bikeability
  
  I love riding my bike and teaching kids to be confident on theirs. I'm also a passionate believer that more people would love cycling if they had a little more confidence.
  
  I especially would love to see more women out on their bikes. It's great to cycle in a group of women having a good natter and a nice tea stop with coffee and cake.
