If you’ve been riding a road bike for a while, and perhaps been thinking about joining a cycling club, these rides – brand new for 2012 – are for you. The prospect of a speedy pace over twenty to fifty miles, and the strong likelihood of some hills thrown in along the way, means our Ride Strong Plus rides are not for the faint-hearted.

A scenic 24.6 mile road ride taking in many quiet roads in West Surrey around Chobham, Windlesham and Sunningdale.  There are plenty of rolling hills and wildlife to be seen across the Common and lots of opportunities to glance at the many homes of the rich and famous along the way.

Additional Information

As these are adult only rides, designed for cyclists progressing from the standard Ride Strong level, the pace of the ride could increase to 15mph at the discretion of the Ride Leader.

Helmets must be worn by all under 18's regardless of ride level.
Please bring equipment with you to repair punctures, Ride Leaders are there to help but are not responsible for your bike.
All rides leave at the time stated you must arrive early Ride Leaders will not wait.

• James Macdonald I use my bike to commute, run errands and enjoy leisure cycle rides. Most of my daily personal journeys are under seven miles. Weather permitting, I cycle longer rides with a group and have not lost the sense of adventure that is part of cycling.
• Nick Rawling Hi my name is Nick and I have lived and cycled in Slough over 40 years so know the area very well.
  In my youth I did Road Racing and held a 1st Category licence.
  I have also been one of a priveledged few people who have worked with Professional Cycle Racing teams on the Tour de France and the Giro d' Italia
  These days I only cycle for pleasure be it on the road or off road leaving the racing to viewing only on Eurosport.
